Denise Hardman

Denise is a Distinguished Product Designer at DICK'S Sporting Goods, working to enable design operations across the community of practice for a 30+ member design team within the Technology organization. Her passion focuses on mixed methods research, sustainability, and social responsibility. Denise is also the founder of Steel City UX Ladies, a Pittsburgh-based UX design community focused on networking, education, and creative pursuits -- she is continuously inspired by all the design practitioners she has met along her journey.

Denise received a Master of Science degree in Web Design & Development from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from The College of Wooster. She has enjoyed getting back to campus, where she has served as a Faculty Advisor for MHCI Capstone and Adjunct Instructor for Service Design at Carnegie Mellon University.
