Description

How has the intersection of design and technology affected our lives, our progress, and the way we see the world? Going back to the days of Plato, this talk will start with a look at some common inventions and how they were received in their time. We’ll examine the way design and technology considerations both came into play as these items came into being and grew towards general acceptance. This talk will feature a look at the last twenty-five years in video games, and explore the way the advance in hardware technology influenced video gaming marketing and design, and the way advances made by video game developers led to needs for ever greater hardware. Batteries included.
