Saelyne is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, working with Jeff Bigham. She earned her Ph.D. from KAIST, advised by Juho Kim, with support from the NAVER PhD Fellowship and the Kwanjeong Scholarship. She interned at Adobe Research, Autodesk Research, and LG AI Research.
Her research focuses on empowering both humans and AI agents to master new skills. She builds collaborative and proactive AI agents designed to assist humans with complex tasks by leveraging diverse learning materials (e.g., documents, videos) to foster more effective knowledge capture and sharing.
