DIG Lab at VIS 2024

CMU authors contributed to four papers and recieved one award

Counterpoint is a framework that creates large-scale visualizations that animate smoothly while keeping your code organized and modular.

The Data Interaction Group (DIG) Lab at Carnegie Mellon University was well represented at IEEE VIS 2024, the premier forum for advances in theory, methods, and applications of visualization and visual analytics. IEEE is the acronym for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and VIS is short for the specialized subject area of Visualization and Visual Analytics. 

Assistant Professor Dominik Moritz received the 2024 Visualization Significant New Researcher Award during IEEE VIS 2024. This award is presented annually at the IEEE VIS conference by the IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Community (VGTC), the premier professional community for research in visualization, visual analytics, and interactive graphics.
