Amy Melniczuk

Amy graduated from media informatics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, with a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction. She is an HCI instructor and researcher committed to designing equitable, evidence‑based learning experiences through tangible and embodied technologies. Her work aims to advance the theory and practice of tangible computing in education while championing inclusive, data‑driven approaches that respect linguistic and cultural diversity and prepare all learners to engage meaningfully with emerging technologies. In parallel with my research, I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in HCI, physical computing, and research methods, emphasizing scientific rigor, iterative refinement, and structured peer critique.
