Course Description

In collaboration with and with the permission of an HCII faculty member, undergraduate students may engage in independent study work on a research project. 

Students must complete an independent study proposal, negotiate the number of units to be earned, complete a contract, and present a tangible deliverable by the end of the semester. Examples of previous undergraduate independent study project proposals are available to download below.

Undergraduate students can count up to 2 independent study projects towards their elective requirements for the Additional Major or Minor in Interdisciplinary HCI programs.
