Sara Longo is an researcher, entrepreneur, and management consultant whose work focuses on business planning, fundraising, and program operations. Her work has been featured in various publications such as The New York Times, Women’s Day, and on the cover of Newsweek. Sara has deep experience directing early-stage startups and projects within life science and technology companies, and has done international advocacy work in sustainability and environmental health. At Carnegie Mellon University, Sara is a Project Manager in the TRACES Lab within the Human-Computer Interaction Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Allegheny College, and has certifications in Executive Leadership from Carnegie Mellon University and Women in Leadership from Coro Pittsburgh. Sara is a Climate Reality Certified Leader and a National Geographic Certified Educator.
