Adjunct-Interaction Design Studio 2
Faculty Position at CMU
The Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University is pleased to announce an adjunct faculty opening to co-teach an Interaction Design Studio 2 course. Adjunct faculty lead classes two days per week. Activities include lecturing, leading discussions on assigned readings, facilitating critiques, leading design sprints, demonstrating design methods, and supporting students in their learning. Outside of class adjunct faculty coordinate with co-instructors, grade student projects, prepare assignments, read student discussions in Canvas and review lectures. Adjuncts occasionally meet individual students and student teams outside of class time to help them strategize how to solve a design task or how to work effectively as a team.
Adjunct faculty must be available on both Tuesday and Thursday for at least one of the sections as follows;
- Section A: 8am to 10:20am
- Section B: 2pm to 4:20pm
- Section C: 5pm to 7:20pm
