M. Azim Ali» Masters Student List
Azim earned his B.S. degree in psychology from Carnegie Mellon in 2006. During that time he worked on several research projects involving attention, visual perception, and problem solving. Upon graduating, Azim continued his studies in cognitive psychology as a graduate researcher at Florida State. He utilized protocol analysis to investigate learning and memory, information processing, and expert performance. After several years studying users, Azim returned to CMU to learn more about designing usable interfaces. He has a wide array of interests, including mobile UI design, interaction design, and product development. Azim is a full-time student in the MHCI program and will graduate in August 2009.
