I’m a computer science/human-computer interaction student with a minor in communication design. I came to HCI from the world of web design, so Jakob Nielsen taught me what usability is all about.

Because of my background, I specialize in front-end engineering and web interface design, but my real passion revolves around more general interaction design (gestural interfaces particularly tickle my fancy). Pioneering and interesting methods of interaction are a surefire way to catch my attention.

I’m currently teaching 98-130 (Techniques for Web Interfaces) and I love brilliant typography, pool (eight-ball please), and cold pillows.
