Happy Birthday HCII!

HCII20

The Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University was founded in 1994, and 2014 rings in 20 years of innovation and research into engaging, effective, life-changing interactions with technology.

To celebrate our anniversary, we’re having a grand conference and party, featuring the world-class work of our faculty, students, alumni and friends. The conference will begin with exciting workshops and tutorials on Friday, Nov. 14. Check out our preliminary schedule and list of confirmed speakers for the rest of the weekend — which will also include a poster and demo session. All events except the banquet will be on the Carnegie Mellon campus in Pittsburgh, and you can find information about directions and parking here. Register here, and don't forget to make your hotel reservation.

Corporate sponsorships are welcome, and we encourage you to help us celebrate our birthday by donating to the HCII Fellowship Fund.
