Part Time Interaction Designer and User Researcher

We are looking for talented interaction/HCI designers and user researchers. We have a new project to develop a real-time information system for school buses in the City of Pittsburgh.

Work to be done:

1. Design web and mobile interface for parents to see when their child’s school bus is coming
2. Design a mobile interface for drivers to initiate a GPS trace for their bus
3. Help coordinate study of system with school, parents and bus company
4. Help recruit parents to participate
5. Interview parents about their experience of use

This is a part time job that requires approximately 10 to 12 hours per week for the Spring Semester. There is also an opportunity for full-time employment over the summer.
