Interaction Design/Research Assistant

Wanted: Interaction designer to create an interface for a intelligent decision support tool that helps cardiologists choose the best treatment option for patients with stage 3 and stage 4 heart failure.

Work to be done

1. Help synthesize user research data that has already been collected on how cardiologists make diagnostic decisions
2. Coordinate with technical team that is developing the intelligent system, in order to understand the capabilities of the technology
3. Design interface for cardiologists that employs the intelligent system
4. Conduct experience prototyping sessions with cardiologists to investigate their perceptions of helpfulness and usability

This work will be done as an independent study for the Spring semester. It will take approximately 10 hours per week.
