Chelada

The basic idea behind Chelada is to always show useful information when you look at your mobile phone, based on time, location, weather, and activity.

Examples might include:

• Remind me to bring in my plants if it will be cold this week
• Remind me to bring an umbrella if it will rain later that day
• Notify me that “school is closed” if lots of snow and the school web site says so
• Show me this meeting agenda PDF tomorrow at 9am
• Show me my hotel, car rental info, directions when I land at my destination airport

Chelada is currently implemented as an Android/web app. We’re looking for folks who can help improve aspects of the user interface, help with ideas for end-user programming (that is, making it easy for non-programmers to specify information tasks like those above), and do user testing.

We’re also interested in people who can do web and/or Android programming as well.
