Walk Score Seeks Passionate Software Engineer

Walk Score helps people find walkable places to live with short commutes, access to public transit, and great biking infrastructure. With our new apartment search technology, we’re collecting data from hundreds of public transit agencies, processing and optimizing gigabytes of OpenStreetMap data, and performing rapid graph traversal in the browser.

You’ll love our modern infrastructure (AWS, App Engine, MongoDB, Node.js) and tools (Python, Flask, GitHub) and once you meet our development team you’ll love them too.

About You:

• Expert programming skills
• Experience building robust, scalable web applications with big data
• Opinionated about languages, frameworks, and tools
• Constantly learning and experimenting with new technologies
• Passionate about reducing car-dependence through software
• Computer Science or related degree
