Key Qualifications

Sandia National Laboratories is searching for a “Student Intern / Undergrad Summer for Web Application Development” to work during the summer of 2013 for the Secondary Reachback Project under the Computer Science Group located in Livermore, CA. This is a temporary position and does not currently require a Department of Energy (DOE)-granted security clearance.

The Deployment team acts as the internal liaison for the client’s needs within the Atlas Development and Deployment process. The team is responsible for the initial analysis of client data and recommendation of suitable site requirements. The team member will filter a high level of client data as it is received and process this information in a timely manner for production.

As the UX intern you will assist in translating business requirements into clean, usable, and elegant designs in the form of sketches, wireframes, flows and prototypes. You will intern closely with the UX team on product design, enhancements, and the choreography between the user and system. Pieces of the design work will be carved off and entrusted to you.
