Wireframes Throughout the ideation phase, our team generated a great number of sketches of user interface. Many initial sketches evolved into next version of wireframes that combined novelties of each design, while some were abandoned as they did not sufficiently address the user needs. As soon as the ideation phase began, each team member brainstormed individually to contribute different ideas to the team. Most of those ideas were supported by sketches and wireframes. Based on those individual wireframed ideas, our group worked in smaller teams to generate refined ideas based on team discussion, concept validation findings, and critiques with our colleagues. As our team iterated on early wireframes, ideas were narrowed down to more refined wireframes and paper prototypes. Those designs were tested on users to evaluate usability of the interface and to identify critical problems. Such evaluations moved our designs forward, which ended up in the final design of our system. |
