Lisa Edelman

Lisa Edelman believes technology should be a tool applied to make lives easier. Her goal is to help people and businesses see the benefits of having technology work for them, not forcing people to try to adapt to machines but making machines fit human lives. She hopes that soon we won't see technology in terms of what it can do, but in terms of what it can do for us.

In her journey from computer science at Washington University in St. Louis to consulting for Deloitte, Lisa has developed an understanding of the mistakes of other companies and technology and ideas of how to improve them. Her HCI passions drove her to Carnegie Mellon's Masters in Human Computer Interaction where she hopes to learn to put her theories into action.

Lisa is looking forward to joining Aptima, Inc. in Woburn, MA in September 2005.
