Adrian Tang
Adrian Tang graduated from CMU with a B.S. in ECE, double majoring in HCI. He couldn't get enough of fixing bad user interfaces, he is currently working on his M.S. in HCI, graduating again in May 2006.
Adrian believes that technology should be integrated seamlessly into people's lives, and not have the users struggle to make the technology work for them. In a recent project, he re-designed the configuration interface on wireless routers in an attempt to allow non-technical users to better understand and configure security on their home wireless networks. Besides exploring ways to make security technologies more usable, he is also interested in ubiquitous computing and information visualization. When Adrian's not hard at work, he enjoys cooking, playing all kinds of racquet sports, singing and playing guitar. |
