Project Mandate
Our
client General Motors came to us and gave us the following constraints for a project:
"Develop
services for a car to be marketed to thirty-somethings in a 10-13 year time frame.
And assume that ample electricity and a broadband data connection are always available
to the vehicle."
We
were free to develop whatever we want, but since we are a team of usability specialists,
we decided to let user data drive our design. However, we need a starting point,
so we brainstormed ideas first. Then
we perform a series of HCI user studies to funnel our ideas down to ones that
we found are most useful and desired by the demographic market.
